Daniel Baudin, Cellar Master of Maison La Mauny, drew his inspiration from traditional methods in order to create an artisanal beverage from Martinique called “Ratafia de Rhum”. Ratafia de Rhum is elaborated by mutage, adding Maison La Mauny white Agricole rum to the must of pure sugarcane juice before fermentation. It is then placed in oak casks to age.
Enjoy it on the rocks as a before dinner drink or in a frosted glass with dessert.
